Consulting Services for New Construction of the Hager Group Centre
In 2012 combine Consulting was first entrusted with the task of preparing a functional and spatial programme for the envisioned building. This programme pinned down key specifications and drafted an assessment grid for the subsequent architectural competition. Furthermore, combine Consulting oversaw the organisation and execution of the competition including review of the preliminary drafts, participation in the jury panel and optimisation of the winning design. The contract was awarded to the well-known Berlin architectural firm Sauerbruch Hutton.
To ensure optimal functional and economic operation of the new Hager Forum, combine Consulting developed the operational and service processes for the building as well as an implementation-oriented user coordination process. Throughout the construction phase, combine Consulting acted as project manager for quality assurance of the interior works and cost verification. The user coordination process handled by combine Consulting included collecting and defining the needs of all future employees and visitors of the Hager Forum, and communicating the lessons learned. combine Consulting’s user-focused project management ensured timely completion of the Hager Forum for the combined official opening and open house event in Obernai on 04/07/2015.
